The 2011 Point in Time Homeless Count for Tarrant County revealed 2,243 persons are homeless on any given night.
You will not get HIV from casual contact such as living, working, or going to school with an infected person, hugging or shaking hands, sharing a meal, or sharing restroom facilities.
HIV/AIDS is a virus that affects the body’s ability to fight off infection. At this time, there is no known cure.
To avoid getting HIV, always practice safe sex, and avoid any needles that may be contaminated.
